ATTN: All Undergraduate Students Planning to Graduate in May 2026
Apply to Graduate (Application for Degree)
If you plan to graduate in May 2026, and have not already done so, please follow the online application for degree instructions and submit the Application for Degree form via ESTHER. As noted in the Academic Calendar, the deadline to apply for graduation next Spring (for May 2026) is this Friday, October 31st.
Academic Progress (Meet with Your Advisor / Degree Works)
As noted in the General Announcements, "Students are responsible for making certain that their plan of study meets all degree and major (and minor and/or certificate) requirements.” Students should regularly meet with their advisors. To complement advising, students should additionally review their academic progress using the Degree Works tool available in ESTHER.
Declaration or Change of Majors, Minors, and/or Certificates
If for some reason you have not already declared a major, major concentration, minor, and/or certificate that you intend to complete upon graduation, please do so as soon as possible. The appropriate forms are available via ESTHER. After obtaining the appropriate signature(s), sign and submit the form to the Office of the Registrar via email to registrar@rice.edu or in person.
