Dear Student,

We are officially in Week Ten (10) of the Fall semester. As noted in the Fall 2026 Academic Calendar, this Friday, October 30th is the last day to designate a full-term course status to Pass/Fail.

Before you make your decision, here are two quick items to keep in mind:

  1. Courses taken as Pass/Fail cannot be used to satisfy major, minor, or certificate requirements. We strongly recommend checking your degree audit in Degree Works or speaking with your academic advisor before declaring any course as Pass/Fail.
  2. You can complete your Pass/Fail designation online via ESTHER.

For more information, please visit the Pass/Fail Option webpage.

Thank you,
